About Dr. Sandhir

Dr. Sandhir is a board-certified gastroenterologist with more than 20 years of experience providing comprehensive digestive healthcare. He earned his medical degree from West Virginia University, completed his residency training at the University of Connecticut Health Center, where he served as Chief Resident, and completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Throughout his career, Dr. Sandhir has been a dedicated leader in gastroenterology and independent medicine. He has served in numerous leadership roles with the Digestive Health Physicians Association (DHPA), including Secretary, Vice President, Executive Committee member, and Board Member. He also served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the American Independent Medical Practice Association (AIMPA), where he was the organization’s first Communications Committee Chair. Additionally, he served on the Medical Leadership Board of One GI as an original board member.

Dr. Sandhir is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Wright State University School of Medicine, a past President of the Montgomery County Medical Society, and has been actively involved in community leadership, including serving as President of the Hindu Temple of Dayton in Beavercreek.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Sandhir enjoys spending time with family, friends, and his dog, Winston. He is an avid supporter of West Virginia University athletics and the Cincinnati Bengals and enjoys golf, downhill skiing, pickleball, reading history and nonfiction, and listening to a wide variety of music.
