Azaan Akbar, DO

Dr. Akbar grew up in Henderson, Nevada. He received his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and Biology at the University of Southern California in 2011. He completed medical school in his hometown at Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency in 2019 and Gastroenterology Fellowship in 2022 both at Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Akbar is married and has two children. His personal interests include film, reading, and traveling. He also enjoys participating in community service and youth development programs in his local community.
