The Day of the Procedure

Consume only clear liquids in place of solid foods. The correct timing of DOSE 1 and DOSE 2 is essential to an effective preparation. The Quality of the preparation has a profound impact on how well the physician is able to detect small lesions in the colon. If you must travel an hour or longer to reach our facility, you should begin this step of your preparation at least 7 hours before your procedure but no greater than 10 hours before.

Start DOSE ONE 7 hours prior to your procedure

  • Step 1: Using the mixing container to mix the contents of the DOSE 1 pouch with at least 16 ounces of water. Shaking or stirring until it is completely dissolved. This may take up to 2-3 minutes. Actual solution is clear. Drink all of DOSE 1 slowly within 30 minutes.
  • Step 2: Refill the container with at least 16 ounces of clear liquid. Take your time and slowly finish all of it within 30 minutes.

After completing the laxative, continue clear liquids.

Start DOSE TWO 5 hours prior to your procedure, and at least 2 hours from starting DOSE ONE.

  • Step 1: Use the mixing container to mix the contents of DOSE 2 with at least 16 ounces of water. Shaking or stirring until it is completely dissolved. This may take up to 2-3 minutes. Drink all of DOSE 2 slowly within 30 minutes. Actual solution is clear.
  • Step 2: Refill the container with at least 16 ounces of clear liquid. Take your time and slowly finish all of it within 30 minutes.
