Dr. Gupta received his undergraduate degree from St. Xavier School and earned his M.D. from the University of Rajasthan, India in 1988. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Loyola University of Chicago, Illinois followed by a three year fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Dr. Gupta is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Medical Specialties in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He is a Fellow of Clinical Research from the Cleveland Clinic. Following his studies, he relocated to Dayton in 2003. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Wright State University School of Medicine. Dr. Gupta is married and has one child. His personal interests include traveling, sports, and reading.
