Dr. Beck received his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and his M.D. from The Ohio State University School of Medicine in 1984. He studied general surgery at Wright State University School of Medicine for two years and then completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Miami Valley Hospital.
After serving as Chief Medical Resident at Miami Valley Hospital, he completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Wright State and serves as Program Director of their GI Fellowship Program. Dr. Beck is married and has two children. His personal interests include boating and football.
