Dr Knoll received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at The Ohio State University in 1981 and his M.D. from The Ohio State University School of Medicine in 1985. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit in 1988 and his fellowship in Gastrointestinal Disease at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit in 1992.
Dr. Knoll served at Henry Ford as both Chief Medical Resident and Chief Gastrointestinal Disease Resident. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Wright State University School of Medicine. Dr Knoll is married and has two daughters. His personal interests include gardening as well as history.
