Ruth graduated with an Associate degree in 1996 from Clark State Community College as a Registered Nurse. She received a Bachelor of Health Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2003 from Kettering College of Medical Arts. Her PA experience includes two years in emergency medicine, and five years of nursing on the medical/surgical unit at Greene Memorial Hospital.

She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Ohio Association of Physician Assistants. Ruth is an avid runner and has completed multiple marathons, both locally and around the nation.
