Dr. Gorsky received his undergraduate degree from The University of Cincinnati and his M.D. from The University of Cincinnati Medical School in 1984. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at The University of Virginia. He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at Rush, Presbyterian, St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. His interest in gastroenterology comes from personal experience.
He was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis at age 10 and required a colectomy and ileoanal pouch in 1997. He is active in The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Wright State University School of Medicine. Dr. Gorsky is married, has three children, and is a new grandfather. His personal interests include traveling, exercising, reading, music, and he enjoys nature and being outdoors.
